Tolland Selectmen table solar PILOT agreement, defer future talks. The board expressed confidence in Assessor's Clerk Jessica Kelmelis's recommendation on the Colebrook River Road project, deferring further discussion while acknowledging developer CVE needs planning information. Chair Steven DellaGiustina stated the Department of Environmental Protection approval is not a prerequisite to board action.
Separately, the board unanimously approved a motion by DellaGiustina to raise the Sergeant's hourly rate to $32.00 and Patrolmen to $30.10 under a 3 percent cost-of-living adjustment. The board received notice of $283,192.12 in Chapter 90 road-funding allotment and declined requests to mandate meeting streaming, establish a Facebook page, or require timely minute uploads.
