Tolland selectmen unanimously approve solar tax deal and utility poles. The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to accept a 20-year tax valuation agreement for CVE's planned solar array on Colebrook River Road and approved Eversource's request to place poles at the same location. Selectman Steven DellaGiustina reported that the Town of Granville secured a Community Compact Grant to offset Tolland's costs for Comcast fiber installation tied to a 911 communications upgrade, though Tolland must budget a 5 percent matching contribution.
The two boards will meet June 29 to coordinate the broadband project.
