Conservation Commission grants compliance and permits tree work

Tolland Conservation Commission approves tree work on two residential properties. Chair Les Cohn and members Valerie Bird and Nichol Magni granted a unanimous Certificate of Compliance for tree removal and dock work at 58 Porcupine Point Road under DEP file 306-0096. For 54 Meadow Drive, the Commission issued a unanimous negative determination on RDA 2026-01, permitting removal of one dangerously positioned tree, three small diameter trees, and a willow with replanting required; the Commission warned that any work beyond the approved list is subject to enforcement with full restoration.
The Commission also approved an emergency certificate for dangerous tree cutting at 73 Lands End for applicant Rene Brunet.
