Tolland Conservation Commission continued review of a seawall project and ordered restoration of cleared trees. Mark Grzymski's Notice of Intent for a tear-down and rebuild at 189 Lands End Drive was continued unanimously pending submission of scaled drawings, elevation data, and construction plans; the Commission noted the existing structure lacks state Chapter 91 licensing and requires Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation approval before local review can proceed. Amanda Cernitz received a unanimous Order of Enforcement requiring a restoration and native-species replanting plan by March 12, 2026, with two years of Commission monitoring and planting to commence around April 15, weather permitting.
The Commission also adopted a five-step protocol for addressing Wetlands Protection Act violations, beginning with desktop and site-visit reviews.
