TOLLAND — Conservation Commission approves restoration plan for unauthorized tree clearing. The Commission unanimously backed a landscape restoration proposal by Berkshire Engineering for property owner Amanda Cernitz at 0 Otter Pond Trail, Lot 17, following an Order of Enforcement issued January 29, 2026. The plan specifies New England Seed mix near the pond shore and seed loam and mulch mix upland, with straw waddles, tackifiers, and seeding hay for erosion control.

The Commission reserved the right to revisit the site in spring 2027 to assess full restoration.
