Board approves response to Wildwood Owners Association over Otter Pond discharge

Board of Selectmen · Meeting of March 30, 2026

Tolland Selectmen approve written response to Wildwood owners on Otter Pond sediment. Chair Steven DellaGiustina stated that road maintenance on Hartland Road complies with Massachusetts General Law, while DPW Superintendent Kate Donovan agreed to install erosion control measures along ditches. The board voted unanimously to approve a $21,000 FY27 Reserve Fund request and a 3 percent cost-of-living adjustment to the Fire Chief's salary.

After Police Chief Scott Bergeron reported a 2014 Ford Explorer requires $8,865 in repairs, the board voted to have the vehicle reviewed by Humphrey's Garage before deciding whether to proceed with the estimate from Sarat Ford.
